In this mini-series, meant to open your eyes for more ways to make money online, I started out with saying:
- Get small ideas instead of big million dollar ones.
Next, I told you about a subscriber, many years ago, who got the idea of selling a $1-product to everybody in the whole world.
I asked you: How would you reach everybody in the whole world?
Did you come up with an answer?
If you did, please let me know.
To my knowledge, there is no way you can reach everybody on the planet and hit them with an offer they cannot resist.
But there’s a way to reach a lot of people and put your offer in front of them.
Where do people hang out these days?
Yes, MacDo, church, StarBucks… These are all good answers, but I was looking for more people than you can stuff in at any of those places.
Where else?
Facebook, yes, who said that?
Fine, you can sit down again.
Hate the place or love it – it doesn’t matter. People gather there, and if you want to reach a lot of people, you don’t get around Facebook.
Can you make money on Facebook? (Without selling tee shirts.)
I was among the people who said "no". You can network on Facebook. You can share your products there on your pages, and you might make a little, but make good money? No.
Earlier this week I discovered that I was wrong about this for two reasons.
1: My mindset.
2: My knowledge.
