Secret Insider Knowledge

Luck? Ha!

In 2000, my family and I broke up and left Denmark for good. We moved to France, to a warmer climate, cheap and good wine, sun, great food, and good-looking surroundings.

Our friends told us we were lucky.

In 2011, we moved to Israel. I love it here. I have a view over the sea. I spend my days writing, walking my dog, enjoying life.

My friends tell me I’m lucky.

While I’m forever grateful, luck has nothing to do with it. We chose to sell our house and move to France in 2000. We chose to leave Europe and go to Israel in 2011.

It’s a choice.

And it’s important to make that kind of choices, because you only live once (I think), and you owe it to yourself to make the most of the life you have.
