I wish I’d known 7 years ago

Sometimes, I’m stupid.

Seven years ago, my business really took off, and that’s when I made a big mistake. I made money. And that’s it.

I never followed up by focusing on growth.

Today, I’ve learned the lesson.

Grow your list. Keep growing it with a targeted audience. And weed out the ones that don’t belong.

In less than 2 hours, I’m going to delete 147 subscribers.

They didn’t open or click on anything in my emails, which signals to me that they aren’t interested in hearing from me.

How do I plan to replace them with people who will like what I share?

I plan to do this in three ways:

  1. Write daily tweets
  2. Write Medium articles
  3. Do live LinkedIn Events

Will my tweets be perfect?

Will my Medium articles be the best-written articles ever?

Will my live events be stunning and breathtaking experiences?

Nope, not likely.

But one thing is for sure:

By learning AND doing, I aim to improve.

If you’re like me and you’re passionate about writing… and don’t mind making money while doing so, you should do what I did and join this next Ship 30 for 30 cohort:

I found this secret code to save $100: CT100 but I don’t know how long it will work. So make good use of it now.
