"Try to be a rainbow in someone’s cloud." – Maya Angelou

That’s beautiful, isn’t it?

I had to look up the author and when I saw her picture, I remember hearing about her death two years ago. Unfortunately, I’ve never been familiar with her literature, but she’s certainly left a lot of inspirational quotes.

How can you lighten up somebody’s day?

Often it’s the small things that makes a difference, like smiling to a stranger, putting a postit note on a friend’s screen, or sending a mail to someone.

Who doesn’t love to get a personal mail?

And if you think about how it makes you feel to make somebody else happy, think again, if you could make more than one happy at a time.

Just by sending a mail, making these persons realize that you’re here and you think of them.

You would need a mailer for that. A mailer that could send to multiple persons at a time.

I started out with my mail client many years ago. Built my first lists directly on my computer.

Nowadays you have auto-responders.

I understand that it can be expensive to start out paying at least $20 per month, before you make some kind of income.

And I recommend writing to your list, however small it is. Even if it only consists of one person.

What to do then?

You could go with a non-expensive mailer, you only have to pay for once. How about that?

You can use your own webhost’s SMTP to send with, or use SendGrid or similar.

There’s a new mailer that might be just what you’re looking for. I’m not using it myself, because I have a more expensive script on my own server. But I didn’t just start out 🙂
