Hi there 🙂 It’s already the last day of this mini-challenge, and Debi J and I came up with an idea for a new one 😉 Much easier this time, and very different, but I’ll tell you more about that later.
Squidoo has updated their rankings, and I was pleased to see that my 20 case study lenses have increased their rankings.
They now rank from #27,769 to #77,605 – this means 20 new money-makers, since they are all well above the 85,000 marker. Yay!
What’s that about ranking? And why does it matter?
If you’ve bought Squick Money: 15-Minute Squidoo System from me, and joined the mailing list, you’ll get a mail about that topic (it’s the 4th mail of the series), and how to improve your ranking (in mail #5).
And now on to my five last lenses in this mini-challenge:
Five Squidoo Lenses for Day 5
Today’s theme is mostly blue. I was still in love with the translucent blue dice I wrote about yesterday, so I went for topics that had to do with blue, glowing, pink… You’ll see below 🙂

So that was my 25 lenses… Now I have to keep them fresh and updated, add to them, remove things, make them better… And hopefully soon see some income.
I’ll keep you posted, and please post your results and your lenses here as well.
Did you enjoy this case study? Did you join the challenge?
Some lovely lenses there. I particularly liked the blue stone rings.
Congrats on getting your 25 lenses done. It will be interesting to find out how they fare.
Here are my latest, which brings me to 15 lenses.

I followed the rules more closely and with the prep work, was able to create these in around 18-20 minutes each. Less thinking makes it easier and quicker Hurrah! 🙂
Awesome ideas 🙂 haha, so in our next lesson, we will learn to think again 😉
Hi Britt,
Just got your guide yesterday and have opened up my whole night to work through this! New challenge starting soon?
You can start now and post in the comments from day one to five, if you want. And you don’t have to make 5 per day. One per day – or even per week – is also fine. The most important is that you have a goal.
Okay I just bought Squick last night – I got a late start today and only got two done but I timed the second one and it was about 17 minutes, including having to find a new niche.
I got these done:

These are super easy to make and I can see why they “should” pull in traffic quickly! Hope to have more than 2 new ones tomorrow 🙂
Great topics 🙂
Yes, they should pull in traffic quickly. One of my challenge lenses is now my third best ranking…
Whew — the final five:

Three more family flowers and since King Louis XVI is in the news a lens on him and his wife….
Thank you for this experience. Since adding 20 more lenses, my ranking have flown up. I used to have maybe 5 lenses under the 100,000 mark. Now I have 14. Since Friday!
It’s going to be a lot of work updating all these but without this challenge, I would not have learned so much so fast.
I’ve noticed that just a tiny update can bring a lens back up again. But I keep an eye of those below 300,000. Time to move up, I guess, and check out all those below 85,000. Argh! That’s 39 out of 71. Right! I have some work to do then 🙂
Great lenses as always. Two of them triggered memories and I left some long comments on them 🙂
I saw the comments and loved them. It is amazing for me to hear about these things — I have never left the North American continent and since I love history and we have very short history here, I love knowing these things.
Hello – This is my day 4 and I have 5 more lenses for you. I was tired and wanted to go to bed but I thought – no – I am going to get this done! Here they are:

5 more to go then I can go back and to the backlinking that you suggested. Haven’t had time yet.
Thanks for inspiring me to work instead of waste time surfing the net. lol
Take care 🙂
Great work, Victoria. I hope you got some sleep. My timer says “3:34 am”, when you wrote this. Hopefully it’s GMT+2, and two hours earlier at your place 🙂
Okay I managed to pump out 3 squick lenses today.

Just realized I didn’t add the table of contents to them so i’ll go do that now!
Nice lenses, Clefty 🙂 I left comments and “liked” 🙂
I have now completed my 25 lenses! Hurrah! I cannot believe that I did it. It is amazing what you can acheive if you: A) push yourself & B)have someone prove that it can be done.
Britt – you proved that it could be done so you inspired me to get on with it.
Here are the last five lenses:

I am a bit of a night owl – The time in London is 12.47am. I have done the lenses, done my videos for the Vloggin challenge, will go read a couple of blo posts then head of to bed.
Thanks again for the guide book. I look forward to doing the backlinking then reporting back on the results.
Right – what is my next challenge………? Good night 🙂
Great work, Victoria 🙂 I’m so happy for you! I’m going to read your lenses in a moment.
Your next challenge? That’s the daily journal challenge 🙂
And how about a “try a new Squidoo module each week” challenge?
