[Case Study] – Day 2 – Five More Squidoo Lenses

Goal setting and planningHi there πŸ™‚ Okay, I took the weekend off (Friday and Saturday) and used a bit of the Sunday to create my daily five lenses. Normally I take Sundays off, too, but a challenge is a challenge πŸ˜‰

I'm happy to find out that others have joined me in this challenge πŸ™‚ I love that! Thanks πŸ™‚

Oh, by the way, if you're new to Squidoo, you might get worried a day after you've published your lens. You can read about the Squidoo Lens Dance here.

In this blog post, I'll show you my five new lenses as well as tell you about the results so far.

Day 2: My Five Lenses

I'm sure you can figure out what I had in mind here with my five new lenses πŸ˜‰

It took me longer time to create those than any other of my lenses. Not because they were harder, but because I'd promised my husband to take Sundays off, too, so I had to go to a battleground in World of Warcraft, talk a lot more, and go to the post office and stuff like that.

But – I got them made, and here they are:

My Results So Far

Well, it's only been a few days since I posted the first five lenses.

They are ranking okay on Squidoo – roughly from 55,000 to 85,000.

No income, yet. But there have been two clicks on my direct Amazon affiliate links.

  1. Britt,

The day I saw your first post about doing five Squidoo lenses per day, I thought you’d lost your mind. πŸ™‚

But in spite of that, I bought your Squick, read through it, and went to work. Between yesterday and this morning, I’ve published nine lenses! I go back to work on Thursday, so I’m seeing how many I can get done between now and then, and I’m not sure that I can get five done every day once work starts up again… But dammit, I’m sure gonna shoot for that! πŸ™‚

So I suppose you can count me in. Amanda’s running a Squidoo challenge of a bit different sort that I don’t believe Squick lenses would qualify for, but once we know which are working and we add more content we can submit them over there too!

    Here’s to a Squid-wonderful 2013!
