The View from Our Balcony in Haifa – Vlog Day 12

Hi there 🙂 While my husband was cooking, I went outside to make today’s vlog. He came running, when he heard I was recording with my old Flip cam and told me that I should let him do it instead of messing with it myself.

Since I’d just finished, I agreed with him to let him do the recording tomorrow.

And he’s right. It’s not optimal, what I’ve done. The horizon isn’t straight, and my face is much too dark, and you cannot even see Frostie’s blue eyes in the video.

But you can see the sea 😀

So here you are: Britt Malka and Frostie in Haifa.

  1. Britt,

What a wonderful view to have every day!! I’m glad you decided to film outside and share. Regardless of the camera issues, darkness and such… it was a wonderful thing to show us. Not to mention how cool it is that your husband wants to help you out so willingly. I know there are many people in business for themselves that would kill for that type of support. He probably doesn’t even know how awesome he is. 🙂

Nice job keeping up on the daily vlog no matter what the conditions!

    1. Thank you for your kind words, Debi. I actually read your comment out aloud when I received it by email, so my husband could hear it.

He’s always been very supportive, and I really appreciate that. When I’m shy about doing a vlog, he puts on his headset, so I know that he doesn’t listen.

He’s always believed in me and my abilities to make money online.

That kind of support is worth gold, no, more, diamonds, wait more… It’s invaluable!

Right now, he’s editing a video for my blog. Months ago, I asked him if he would like to do a guest post. Now he’s doing it, and I have no idea about what he’s going to say. I’m so curious!

  2. I agree with Debi – LOVE the view and I love the sounds of children playing out there too.

Oh gosh lady making me do math? LOL! The spam filter kills me. Keeping me on my toes! LOL

    1. London is charming, but much colder than here, that’s for sure 🙂 I haven’t been there for many years, but I have always loved my holidays in London.

    1. Thanks, Jenn 🙂 I think it’s the 4th time we watch the first episode of 24. And it’s still great! Another favorite series of ours is “Medium”. I just didn’t like the last and final episode. It was so sad.

  3. Oh! I’ve got to buy that Squidoo guide too!

Thanks for sharing your view! And what a nice evening you have planned! Love the cat! We recently adopted a 5 year old tabby and I am completely smitten! 🙂

    1. Thanks, Tiffiney 🙂 Cats can really have personality. We named our cat after some valuable emblems in World of Warcraft – “Frost Emblems”, but shortened “Frosties”. So we called him “Frostie”. No wonder he’s a geek and loves World of Warcraft – especially if he can get his paws on the keyboard while we’re not near our computers.

  4. Wow what a nice view! I only wish I had an ocean view! 😉 Your cat is beautful from what I can see. Yes cats have so much personality! We have 2 cats and they are so different from each other. The little one is like a little puppy dog lol . I will have to introduce them in a video soon.

  5. Great views!!!! I can see why you moved and are so excited above the sea views that you have. We have a cat called Kuda and she has her very own personality. She and our Mastiff (Nola) tolerate each other. Kuda is not interested in the keyboard unless she wants attention. Ao I always save my work every ten minutes or so.

    Warm Regards,
    Robert

    1. LOL, Robert, it’s very wise of you to save your work that often. You can never predict when a cat wants attention 😀

  6. As often as I’ve read your postings, Britt, this is the first time I’ve watched one of your blogs and am quite pleased to meet you. I knew you were from Haifa, yet it was a pleasant surprise to hear your accent. (For some strange reason, I thought you were American.) The view is quite lovely — what floor are you on?

    1. Thanks, Leo, and I take it as a compliment that you thought I was American 😀 I’m on ground floor, but since we live a little bit up the mountain, the balcony site of our apartment is elevated from the ground. It’s as if that side is first floor, but we enter on ground floor. Actually, it’s a big house, we live in, not a big building. There are a family living upstairs, but nobody else.
