Five Tips on How to Stay Motivated and Focused

The problem for many people is not to get started on a project, but to stay motivated and focused long enough to finish it.

I found a funny video that gives you five tips to do it, and I’ll even list the five tips so you can return to them later.

The video is short and to the point: Only 2 minutes and 29 seconds.

So, let me resume the tips:

Tip #1: Get enough sleep.

This is maybe more important than you think. You lose focus and concentration if you don’t get enough sleep.

How much sleep should you get? That’s individual. Some get along just fine with 6 hours, others need 8 or 9. If you need more sleep than that, you’re either a dog or a zombie.

Tip #2: Give up trying to control other people.

You can’t.

So stop wasting your energy on trying to do it.

Tip #3: Music.

Listen to the right music will help you stay motivated.

Tip #4: Get healthy.

Maybe you wouldn’t have considered this one, but it’s a biggie. If you’re not feeling well, you’ll be lethargic, and you’ll be procrastinating enough.

How do you get healthy?

Eat healthy food. Wash your hands frequently. OFTEN! A lot! And get enough sleep.

Tip #5: Stop comparing.

Don’t compare your own success with other’s. Like the lady says: They may live in a huge villa, but they may also be in debt to above their head.
