Making Money Online For Free

This post may contain affiliate and ad links for which I earn commissions.

making money online for freeIf I told you that it’s perfectly possible to be making money online for free, would you be interested?

The good news it that it takes nothing more than your time to get started. And you can potentially make everything from a few dollars per month to thousands of dollars.

You have to use free tools, of course, if you don’t want to invest money in your Internet business at the moment, and there are plenty of them available.

If you want to start a blog, which is a great way to start making money online for free, you can go with Blogger.com.

Don’t choose WordPress.com – their blogs are fantastic, but they don’t allow advertising or ads on them. In that case, you have to install their PHP script on your own domain, and both hosting and the domain cost money.

You can also make money on Hub Pages or Squidoo or Xomba. All three sites are easy to use, and easy to implement ads or affiliate products to.

In order to make a fast income, you can use several means:

1: AdSense

Google’s advertising program is free to join, and if you create a blog on Blogger.com, and add some content, you shouldn’t experience problems in getting accepted.

On Blogger, you’ll find templates that are pre-made for AdSense, so it’s easy to integrate the ads in the best way. You don’t even have to fiddle with codes. Just click and add AdSense to your blog, and it’s done.

2: Amazon

Amazon.com was probably the first company to offer an affiliate program. You can join for free, when you have a blog or a website. It’s easy to get codes that point directly to a product, or you can add banners, or even contextual links to your blog.

3: Contextual Link Ads

If you choose Hub Pages or Squidoo, it’s very easy to add contextual link ads. You’ll notice that some of the words in your text will be underlined with a double line, and if you guests click on those links, you’ll make money.

4: ClickBank

You can join an affiliate network like ClickBank, and choose some great products to promote. Write about them, and be honest. Leave an affiliate link in your blog post, and if people are interested, they will click and buy from your link. You’ll then get paid directly by the affiliate network.

  1. Indeed fantastic – and great – ways to earn money online. I would especially like to commend you for mentioning Blogger. My Danish site containing jokes has jumped into the top-10 for searches for jokes in Danish, and has been a tremendous source of income. Over the nearly three years it has been running it has earned hundreds of dollars. When I think back it was a VERY good idea to put jokes I sent to my father-in-law into a blog. The only work involved has been approximately 1½-2 hours each month – and even in months when I haven’t added all that many jokes (some months fewer than 10) it had been earning a steadily increasing amount of money…

So one doesn’t need his own domain to start earning money online.

I have one question, now that you mentioned Google Adsense: why haven’t you put any Adsense on this blog? It has come out of the sandbox and you have some pretty good key words that could earn you some money, so why not use the source when you recommend it to others?

Keep writing passionate articles. It is very much appreciated. 🙂

    1. It’s good to hear about your success with your jokes on Blogger. And great question: Why haven’t I put AdSense on this site?

I decided not to – at least for now. I want to have a clean blog with only a few ads for great products, so that you – hopefully – focus on what I have to say and offer, and not on other people’s ads.

Of course, I might chance my mind in the future. After all – that’s a woman’s privilege, isn’t it?

  2. I really liked your post! I have been doing something similar with pretty good results. I have been using Blogger and Squidoo also. They are easy to work with and integrate with other social aspects.
    Thanks for the tips!
