Duck fat… what the…?

This post may contain affiliate and ad links for which I earn commissions.

Hi 🙂

I didn’t make it to the balcony today. I got caught up in being busy…

Well, that was fun, too 🙂

Yesterday, I promised you more info about Amazon affiliate marketing, and I’m going to share with you today…

Tada!

The Secret to Getting Sales

Here I am in a supermarket in France, holding in my hand a package of … duck fat?

What the…?

They are crazy, those French guys, but what do they use duck fat for?

The old man standing next to me at the coolers sees my perplexity and says:

“You melt it in a pot, and keep it in the freezer. It’s good for frying food in.”

I bought the odd package, and did as he told me. And he was right!

My son is telling me about the fabulous french fries he had for dinner at a friend’s house.

“And they were made without oil!”

“No! That can’t be true.”

“Yes. He used a special thingy for it… Hm… I can’t remember the name of it. Let me ask Seb.”

His friend Sebastian doesn’t answer the phone. So I check the Internet and find the thingy.

Actually, it is called Seb, and I’m reading an excellent blog post about it. The author, an old lady, got it for her birthday, and we see her unpack it and use it. She uses one tablespoon of oil for the french fries.

There is no link in the blog post, so I go to Amazon and search for it and buys it on the spot.

Why were two sales made here?

It’s for the same reason.

It was neither the supermarket nor Amazon who did the selling.

It was the middle-person.

And he/she didn’t do any selling either.

They were just helping.

That’s the secret to getting sales. You need to help. Not sell.

More about Amazon affiliate marketing tomorrow and how to help people to decide to buy. Powerful info.

Best regards,
Britt Malka
