Want 500 opt-ins a day?

By Britt Malka | List Building

Can you imagine getting 500 TARGETED new subscribers daily?

That’s the kind of results Ron Douglas has seen. He’s been quietly generating over 500 leads per day with little $5 ads on Facebook.

He calls his system “Fiver Dollar Posts” and it’s getting him clicks for as low as $0.02.

I’ve previously promoted this, because I bought it myself and really loved it. He’s previously sold it as live coaching for $997, but now it’s down to a price that’s within everybody’s reach.

You might know Ron already. He’s a New York Times Best Selling Author who built a huge audience of over 250k subscribers online in evergreen niches such as cooking.

(He’ll even show you a peek at his Aweber account.)

He’s been on Good Morning America, Fox and Friends, NBC News, Home Shopping Network and got a million dollar book deal with Simon & Schuster with over 1.4 million books sold.

This guy is the real deal

Desktop autoresponder? Email Jeet 2.0 Review

By Britt Malka | List Building

Can you do email marketing from your desktop?

With a stand-alone mailer?

Well, that’s how I started out many years ago (around 2004).

I used my mail client, strong filters, perl code (don’t ask!), text files and some clever download routines. I wouldn’t now how to set that up today.

But since then I’ve used the traditional autoresponder, like AWeber, and self-hosted. The latter means that I have to install a script and run the autoreponder from one of my domains.

I don’t mind – in fact, I like it, but if you’re new to marketing, you might not want to do the same.

When I heard about a low-priced alternative, a program, you install on your computer, I was very interested.

Desktop Version

The autoresponder is called Email Jeet, and it’s created by Cyril Gupta.

I got review access to it yesterday, installed it, imported a list of subscribers and sent a mail.

There is a lot to say about this program.

emailjeet

Pro

First of all, it’s easy to install, and I was up and running without even checking the tutorials.

You can import subscribers from a text file or a csv file.

It’s easy to set up SMTP connections to send the mails, and it was very fast to send the mails.

There’s a built-in WYSIWYG editor, making it easy to format your mails.

You can schedule mails or send immediately.

You can use your webhost’s SMTP, an SMTP service like SendGrid, or even the built-in SMTP server.

Con

The mail showed my email as sender, not my name.

You cannot mail non-openers again, and you cannot mail one list and remove members of another list.

There is no personification – meaning you cannot write "Hi [sub_fname]" and have the mailer insert the name.

You can only add new subscribers by importing files, not by adding a single new subscriber.

There are templates, but you cannot add your own, and the text you write, doesn’t show up on Preview, if you use a template.

You can, though, create a full HTML mail and upload it as a template, and it will work. That’s what I did yesterday.

You can’t set up a mail sequence to go out depending on when people sign up. Only broadcast.

You can create mailing lists, but not tag subscribers.

Conclusion

You won’t see many professional marketers use this – promote it, yes, no doubt. I would love to see Cyril Gupta’s own mail today to see if he’s using it.

For a beginner to email marketing, I think it’s an okay solution. Low-priced, one time payment, and you can export your list later, when you outgrow Email jeet 2.

For advanced marketers it can be handy for a quick mail now and then. I used it for such a mail yesterday, where it came handy, because I could combine two very different mailing lists, but otherwise I wouldn’t use it.

Otherwise, it seems like a fine, stable and working solution.

Why We No Longer Use arpReach as Auto-Responder

By Cyril Malka | Guests & Paid Reviews , List Building

We were using Sendy as an autoresponder when my wife, Britt, found arpReach. She liked the product a lot since it could do things Sendy couldn’t (and still can’t as far as I know) and which she found very useful. She bought the so-called “Gold” license. According to arpReach, the Gold license gave right to the script for lifetime on five domains.

Since Britt liked the product, she recommended it to other people and, as an affiliate sold several licenses. Enough to earn her $ 225… Or should I say: Enough to earn her $ 225 if arpReach had paid the commission they owed her.Continue reading

"Try to be a rainbow in someone’s cloud." – Maya Angelou

That’s beautiful, isn’t it?

I had to look up the author and when I saw her picture, I remember hearing about her death two years ago. Unfortunately, I’ve never been familiar with her literature, but she’s certainly left a lot of inspirational quotes.

How can you lighten up somebody’s day?

Is Periscope for you?

By Britt Malka | Affiliate Marketing , List Building , Money Online , Traffic

Lately, I’ve seen a lot of products containing the name “Periscope”. Since I was busy doing other stuff, I didn’t check it, but accepted that there was a new buzz thing in town.

Then I heard about Periscope in a product by Chris Record. He showed some videos he’d made with it and how he used it to attract a lot of new subscribers both fast and easily.

“This looks interesting,” I thought. “I wonder what this Periscope thing costs?”

Yes, you can get it for free and use it on your iPhone or Android phone.

After I made that discovery, I checked a little further and found out that the audience could send small hearts to show their appreciation for a streaming video.

But for every time I discovered something, more questions arose. Like “how do they send those hearts?” – and “how do you use Periscope for your business?” – “can authors sell more books if they use Periscope?”

Lots of unanswered questions…

What’s So Good About Adding Buyers to Your List

By Britt Malka | List Building , Money Online

Why Buyer Leads Are Best

Right now I’m in the middle of a product launch, following the 30 Days to $10,000 Challenge by Tom Glover. So I’m adding buyers to my list.

That’s a good thing. You probably already know. And you’ve probably learned that it means that these people are more than tire-kickers. They are action takers.

At least when it comes to the action of grabbing their credit card and pay for a product.

I’v been thinking about it, though, and this is far from the only thing we know about buyers.

Have you considered this?

Cash In On All The Million-Dollar Marketing Secrets Shared At Warrior Event 2014

By Britt Malka | Affiliate Marketing , List Building , Money Online

I wouldn’t have been where I am today, if I hadn’t participated in events. The ones I joined was local, in my city, and I would just love to go to a Warrior Even and meet fellow warriors.

People, who’ve participated, have loved it.

But it’s expensive, unless you live in the neighborhood. You have to get there, you have to stay in a hotel, dine out, maybe even pay for a babysitter… It all adds up.

The second best thing is to watch the videos.

I got peek access, and I must confess that I had a hard time choosing which video to watch first.

Get Started with Sendy Autoresponder

By Britt Malka | List Building , Money Online

Hi there 🙂 A woman has the right to change her mind, doesn’t she? And up until recently, I said that I would NEVER go back to an auto-responder on my own domain.

Well, that was before I heard about Sendy and how this auto-responder script works on your domain but sends out mails through Amazon’s trusted SES.

Two days ago, I sent out my first mails with Sendy, and I’ll tell you about what I did, why I did it, where I had problems, what I loved, and more.

And as always: Please leave your questions and comments in the … yeah, comment’s area.
