A while ago, I wrote a blog post called “Where Is Your Roadblock“, and I got a lot of great comments to that post.
It seemed that a lot other than me were scared of making videos, yet we all knew it would make our business grow.
But there’s more to it.
Every time you do something scary, you grow personally.
When I was in my early twenties, my uncle celebrated his 50 years birthday. It was a costume in our family to hold a speech on such occasions, but since I’ve always just been a “child”, when it happened, I had never done it.
He invited 50 people, most of them strangers to me. But I stood up and held the speech. And people laughed at the right moments, and they applauded me. I guess they forgot all about it a minute later, when the next dish was served, but for me, it changed everything.
I had dared!
I did it!
Wooo hoooooo!
Was I high?
Yes, it made me grow, and what’s really cool is that every time you do things like that, you grow a bit. And feeling self confident will also make your business grow. Because you dare to be yourself, and not just follow somebody else.
